First Timer's Guide to Seascape
Although it’s easy to spend the day soaking up sunshine and listening to the waves lap at your feet, save some time to enjoy everything else this family-friendly beach neighborhood has to offer.
Visiting for the first time? Here’s a look at some things to do in Seascape:
As a resort destination, guests here have endless amenities and activities at their fingertips. You can spend the day on the beach (be sure to catch the Seascape beach tram), explore the resort by bike – a stop by Stewart Lake, one of South Walton’s rare coastal dune lakes is a must. You can also play a round on the Seascape championship golf course. Want to take tennis lessons in Seascape? You can even fine-tune your game with a USPTA pro.
Many people have asked: is Seascape walkable? Well, it sure is! The 55,000-square-foot Seascape Towne Centre is the ideal place to grab a bite to eat at Mezcal Mexican Grill, let the kids be kids at Thrills Laser Tag & Arcade or catch a show from national touring artists at The Village Door.
You’re in for a treat when you go to the Towne Centre, so make sure to stop at Moo La-La Ice Cream & Fudge to try one (or more!) of their 24 ice cream flavors. Then hop on over to LDV Surf & Skate to get yourself outfitted for some Stewart Lake paddleboarding or some fun out on the Gulf.
With so much to do you’ll certainly be hungry. The dining options here are just as diverse as the destination itself. Seascape waterfront dining is at your fingertips at Whale’s Tail Bar & Grill, where you can pair mouthwatering seafood and Instagram-worthy views of the Gulf. Royal Palm Grille also showcases Gulf views and awesome eats, and when the sun goes down you can enjoy a beachfront bonfire and a cold drink from the restaurant’s beach bar.
If you’re looking for live music in Seascape, then you do not want to miss out on the great concerts and music festivals. Conveniently, many happen in the fall, so you can soak up the sun without the heat.
The Moon Crush Festival series is a favorite, with Avett Moon Oct. 3-5, 2025, Whiskey Moon Nov. 7-9, 2025, and Odies Beach Vacation Nov. 13-15, 2025. For rock music lovers, head to Seascape for Rockin’ in Paradise with Styx and Friends from Oct. 9-11, 2025. Into country? Luke Comb’s Bootleggers Bonfire will be Oct. 23-25, 2025, and is certain to make your fall a special one. The options are endless!
As you enjoy everything this upscale beach destination has to offer, we encourage visitors to explore responsibly. As you vacation in Seascape, please help us preserve the natural beauty of the area by staying on marked paths, disposing of waste properly, and being mindful of local wildlife and other guests.
There’s something to be said about a vacation tailored to suit your style. Everything from the Seascape accommodations and activities to the dining and entertainment are available for your choosing. Make your trip exactly what you’d like!
