Take a Taco Tour of South Walton
Tacos may just be one of the world’s most perfect foods. Ranging from simple classics to Gulf-inspired twists showcasing the freshest catch, South Walton has plenty of delicious options to satisfy your cravings.
Check out these recommendations that are sure to keep you coming back for more.
Amigos 30A – Inlet Beach
Amigos 30A is serving up your favorite Mexican-inspired classics with a South Walton spin! Located right next door to Amici 30A, Inlet Beach’s favorite Italian spot, visitors can order from both menus from either location! We recommend their Mix & Match Tacos, with options ranging from pork belly to ahi tuna.
LaCo – Seacrest
Located just beyond a sea of bike rentals, visitors can dive into authentic Mexican-inspired dishes at this local hotspot. With a wide variety of traditional flavors, LaCo is the perfect East-end spot for a great meal with friends and family. Don’t miss the Lobster Tacos – tossed in chili-butter, topped with corn relish and roasted red peppers, served on a corn tortilla.
Macho Taco – WaterSound
With a name like Macho Taco, you know you are getting the biggest and best tacos in all of South Walton! Nestled along the bustling boutiques and art galleries at The Big Chill, Macho Taco pairs perfectly with the variety of cocktails and entertainment you can find there throughout the year. Order the Carnitas Tacos with guacamole and chips – both delicious and filling!
Bud & Alley’s Taco Bar – Seaside
Bud & Alley’s has one of the best reputations along 30A for serving up tasty cocktails alongside South Walton culinary traditions – all with an amazing view! If you haven’t tried out their Taco Bar, located right next door to the Coleman Pavilion, make sure to pay a visit after soaking up the sun. Cap off a perfect day at the beach with their Baja Fish Tacos and a Fresh Sangria.
FOOW – WaterColor
Speaking of picture-perfect views, FOOW is a must-see during your next trip to South Walton. Chef Matt Moore pairs locally grown produce with fresh Gulf seafood, and the result is the perfect taco. Try a Paddleboard Paloma or Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (pictured below) with the Dos Grouper Tacos! Gaze out across the rolling boardwalks and coastal dunes as you snack, sip and sing along to live music on their outdoor deck.
Chiringo – Grayton Beach
“Nice dogs, strange people…” amazing food! Grayton Beach is the “locals” grub spot in South Walton. With a two-story deck, indoor/outdoor bar and mini yard complete with cornhole games, Chiringo is a fun place to enjoy some South-of-the-border flavors. Start things off with the Fresh Guacamole or Fried Sweet Plantains, served with Chiringo’s signature cilantro dipping sauce. Then build your own taco – Cabo or Baja Style – filled with your choice of protein!
Cantina Laredo – Miramar Beach
Located at Grand Boulevard in Miramar Beach, Cantina Laredo is an ideal spot to grab a bite (and a margarita) after a long day of shopping or relaxing on the beach. Pull up a chair on their open patio, just off the Grand Boulevard green, and enjoy freshly prepared guacamole and terrific tacos. Try the Pollo Asado Tacos with chicken grilled to perfection, topped with mango-pineapple pico de gallo, cilantro, house-made poblano sauce and cheese.
