Watersound Origins

Description

Located in the Watersound community, the Origins course is dedicated to making golf more fun, accessible and attractive to families, yet challenging enough to retain the interest of the avid player.

This six-hole regulation course alternatively plays as a ten-hole Par 3 layout through the use of alternate tee boxes and auxiliary greens. The landscape of the course includes rolling fairways that reflect the natural terrain, much like the fairways of the old Scottish courses, creating some very interesting lies for golfers.

Via its non-penal design and manageable distance (approximately 1,800 yards) the Origins Course appeals and caters to novices, yet its regulation-length holes and greens dimensions provide enough challenge and strategy to retain the interest of avid and experienced players.
