First Timer's Guide to Seacrest

First time visiting Seacrest? Here’s your beginners’ guide to Seacrest beach fun.

No coastal Florida vacation is complete without a few days by the ocean. But this upscale beach destination is just as well known for its pools as for its waves. High Pointe Resort and The Villas at Seacrest have two of the grandest pools to be found along Highway 30A, so don’t forget to add them to your itinerary.

When you’re ready to start exploring, bikes are the best way to get around. With Seacrest bike rentals located in the town center, it’s easy to hop on a bike and start pedaling. Keep your eyes peeled and spot as many of the uniquely named streets as possible, or grab a picture in front of the giant Seacrest beach chair. Need some retail therapy? Cruise down to check out the shops at the Peddler’s Pavilion.

Getting hungry? A stop at Seacrest Sundries is a must. This neighborhood market makes it easy to grab a quick bite to eat or pick out some tasty snacks for a day out and about. When dinnertime rolls around, make a reservation or drop in at one of our favorite Seacrest restaurants. La Cocina, The Sweet Peddler or Pizza By the Sea are just a few of the dining options in Seacrest.

For dinner with a view, try Crabby Steve’s, one of our favorite beachside restaurants in Seacrest. Serving up lunch, dinner, drinks and incredible views, this casual eatery is tucked just steps away from the sugar-white sand that South Walton is famous for.

When it’s time for the adults to kick back and relax, look no further than Beach and Brew on 30A, a festive, dog-friendly taproom where you can enjoy beers from all over the country. This taproom showcases Seacrest live music and plenty of ice-cold beverages and craft beers. You’ll find South Walton’s own Grayton Beer Company and Idyll Hounds Brewing Company on tap, so you can sample some local favorites, too.

No matter how you choose to spend your time in Seacrest, there’s plenty of fun to be had. From biking to relaxing on the beach, creating memories with family and friends is a breeze.
